So glad that Giant Food Stores keeps a few of their stores open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, like this supermarket in Hatfield, PA. The one in Montgomeryville is also 24 hours, too. Most of the other stores close around 11pm, so at times, this is a convenient place to shop!
This Giant is horrible. The salad bar is completely unsanitary including uncleaned counters, fruit flies around the food, old food under the food trays, and not to mention the food rack they put the food in at night is never cleaned. The floors are always dirty. The cleaners don't even do their job. They just walk around with a broom and dust pan, but don't actually clean anything. It's all a show. The bathroom is filthy. No toilet paper, feces on the toilet seat, profanity written on the dividers, and hair over the sink. The price tags don't even match what's below the item. Out of date food. The Deli department is extremely unprofessional. A bunch of immature kids behind the counter joking around and speaking about their personal business out loud. Fruit flies are always hovering around the food in Produce. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They obviously hate their jobs. The most embarrassing part is, this is all ran by the Store Manager, Randy Boyer who is extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional as well. He needs to be fired ASAP. This Giant has gone down hill dramatically. He already has a reputation for harassment and intimidation which I have witnessed as a customer. I could on and on about this location. NOT RECOMMENDED.
I usually shop there and get my prescriptions because they are very very reasonable. Nice store, clean and easy access. Lately I have been getting my groceries delivered and the guys are great. They bring everything into the house and always on time.
Great store for pricing. The employees aren't always the most friendly but not rude either. Samsung pay also doesn't work.
This Giant has lowered prices on many items throughtout the store. Deli is always clean. The produce dept is not the greatest. Shelves are mostly stocked unless we are in a snow storm warning. Bread is sometimes stale. Cashiers are mostly friendly. I wish they had full time baggers tho. The cashiers do not like to bag your groceries.
